The Tennis Necklace: A Graduation Gift That Grows With You

This tennis necklace was made as a graduation piece with a clear brief from the client. They wanted a smooth and seamless graduation across the neckline without any visible jumps in size.

To achieve this, we used over 7 different sizes of round diamonds so that each stone transitions naturally into the next. The result is a clean, continuous flow rather than a stepped look.

The piece was made in 14kt gold, weighing 17 grams, and set with a total of 11.7 carats of diamonds.

It was designed as a half covered necklace, meaning the diamonds are placed only in the front section that is visible when worn. This allowed us to stay within budget while maintaining the overall impact of the piece.

Special attention was given to wearability. Tennis necklaces often tend to flip, so the linking was engineered differently compared to standard tennis bracelets. This ensures the necklace sits flat on the neck and stays in position.
